Privacy policy

Planex Ltd ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website and how we use it, in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

When you submit an enquiry or use our calculator and leave your details, we collect what you provide: name, phone number, email address, postcode and information about your project. We also record which page the enquiry came from and basic campaign information (e.g. UTM tags) so we know how you found us.

How we use it

We use your details only to respond to your enquiry, arrange a consultation, prepare a quote and, if you become a client, deliver your project. Our lawful basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to requests you make.

Sharing

We never sell your data. We use a form-delivery service to pass website enquiries to our inbox; it processes data on our behalf only.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't lead to a project are deleted within 24 months. Client records are kept as long as required for guarantees, tax and legal obligations.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent at any time, by emailing info@planexltd.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

We do not use advertising cookies. With your consent, we use analytics tools to understand how visitors use the website so we can improve it:

• Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd) — pages visited, how visitors found us and which buttons they use.
• Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd) — anonymised heatmaps and recordings of how pages are used. Text typed into forms is masked.

These tools only load after you click "Accept" in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not identify you.
